Meet the All-New Toyota Highlander XSE

Keen-eyed watchers of the Toyota SUV lineup will have noticed that one popular trim level was missing from the all-new 2020 Toyota Highlander lineup. And if you were waiting for the top-end Toyota Highlander XSE to make an appearance, your wait will soon be over. Introduced as a 2021 model dropping later this year, a fresh Toyota Highlander XSE has just broken cover, and Concord Toyota is here to tell you all about it.

A Unique Design

While the 2020 Toyota Highlander has just gone through a radical redesign, the 2021 Highlander XSE is a departure from that new look. The narrowed LED headlights are retained, however the upper grille is no longer flared out from top to bottom. Instead, that look is inverted, and the horizontal chrome trim piece is eliminated.

Inside, you’ll find striking design choices like red and black leather upholstery and unique trim pieces that set the Highlander XSE apart from the rest of the family.

Performance Upgrades

The changes between standard Highlander models and the upcoming Highlander XSE are more than skin deep. For starters, a sport-tuned suspension will give this three-row SUV more poised handling through the corners, giving you more confidence behind the wheel. Torque vectoring technology will be available on all-wheel drive models to improve turn-in response and handling on slippery surfaces as well.
